The STM-RP EPL massage table for spinal rehabilitation is designed for spinal rehabilitation through massage of the back and neck.
The rehabilitation mechanism is based on the intensification of hemodynamics and metabolic processes in the muscular corset of the spine. The intensification of hemodynamics substantially increases the blood volume in the muscle mass of the spinal corset. As a result of the volume increase, both the volumetric and linear dimensions of the muscle mass increase. In absolute terms, the change along the spine is particularly significant.
In an adult, it reaches approximately 7–12 mm after a single massage session lasting 5–10 minutes. Such a significant change, taking into account the consolidation of the muscle mass with the bony "architecture" of the spine, leads to an increase in the distance between the vertebrae, the elimination of intervertebral compression, and the relief of radicular pain syndrome.
